Known as much for its free entertainment and recreational offerings as for its professional whitewater competitions, the Reno River Festival returns for its seventh go-round, downtown Reno's Truckee River Whitewater Park May 7-9, 2010.

Gathering the globe's top whiteater competitors for freestyle and boatercross competitions, the 7th annual Reno River Festival also includes the immensely popular Run Amuck relay race and mud run, the Collegiate Nationals Whitewater Championship, a stand-up paddle board race, three days of live music and entertainment, yoga in the park, a Friday night kick-off party and new for 2010, the "Humans in Motion" video submission contest.
