About Me:  I was born on the banks of the Nantahala River and took my first trip down the river at age 6 months (thanks Mom).  Since then a lot of my life has had to do with the river in some shape or form , something that I hope to continue as long as I can.  I feel that no matter what you can always get outside and things get better.  Be safe out there!

Professional Accomplishments:  two-time Green race winner and course record holder, multiple other extreme race wins, 2003 World's Freestyle Silver Medal, and Lead Instructor at NOC Paddling School.

Why you love kayaking:  Because even after all these years there is still no where else I'd rather be than on a river and that's any river.
