About Me: (in 4 sentences or less) I grew up in the most beautiful state, Montana, as well as learned to kayak at eleven years old.  Thanks to Jessie Rice, I started creek boating at 21 years old when I moved to Reno to begin my Civil Engineering degree.  By the end of 2009 I hope to graduate from college, win a mountain bike race (even if I’m the only girl it still counts), and win another California Challenge.

Other Hobbies/Activities: Finishing Engineering degree, mountain biking, watching Oprah, running, drinking coffee and chatting, dirt biking is rad too.

Professional Accomplishments:

I’ve paddled for Dagger for 3 complete seasons now and am co-Founder of the “So You Think You’re Hot” photo contest.   I’m featured in the videos The Last Descent, Hotel Charley, and various other Cali specific videos.  My biggest claim to fame is 2^nd place in the “Dirty Dozen” Green Race and I got 2^ndat Teva Games too… But I got 1^st in the California Challenge 2008!

Why you love kayaking: It is absolutely the only thing in the world that scares me into complete self empowerment.
