  • Short summary: I highly recommend this kayak. Bought this a year ago and working on getting another. The seat is very comfortable which is huge for kayaking, particularly if going for overnight plus trips. It has all the room you need for gear and while I've previously worked without a dry hatch I have to say I am now spoiled having one (although I still use dry bags in it just in case). This kayak maneuvers almost as easily as my 9' 5" kayak and is way faster. I've been in big rivers, small r

After trying it, I love the all day comfort, stability, and the dry well which will hold everything in a backpack. A great kayak for the $.

  • Bought a pair of Zydeco 11 a week ago. Im new to kayaking. I am in love with these kayaks. Went on my first river trip which was 10.5 miles. Took about 4.5 hours. Felt like 15 minutes because these kayaks are so comfortable. In my opinion these rec kayaks are the best.

  • Great kayaks; bought a pair of Zydeco 11's about 2 weeks ago. Have been out in 2 different NJ reservoirs since. We encountered heavy winds and white caps on the way back in today. They were easy to maneuver through the rough conditions.

  • Fantastic boat! I just picked mine up this weekend. The store I purchased it from was out of the yellow boats, so I went with the lime green and it looks great. It tracks quite well. Stored all the gear I packed for 3 days and 2 nights. Performed well in waves on the open water. I would recommend the 11.0 to all of my friends and family! Can't wait to see how it handles in some rougher creeks and rivers.

  • I bought a pair of Zydeco 11ft's. These are great boats! It tracks well and can even hold a weekends worth of camping gear! Stable as far as rec boats go. The seat is adjustable in a couple ways and it makes the 5 or 6 hour floats. You cant go wrong with this boat. By far the best recreational, slow river boat ive ever used. The blue color is really sharp looking too!

  • Hey Guys! BioGuy here from Naturality Designs. I test-rented one of the Zydeco 11's today to see what I thought of it. I called them on the way home from my test paddle and ordered the blue one. It comes in tomorrow and I will have it when I return the (now free) rental. I really liked it and it will be my first kayak after stepping up from canoeing and pack rafting. Ill leave another review after a few moths of use.
