About Me:
I have many passions that all revolve the sport and community of whitewater kayaking - from teaching high school classes at World Class Kayak Academy, to creating state of the art whitewater documentary films, organizing community paddling events like the White Salmon Riverfest and creating environmental films that help to preserve our watersheds.

Favorite Places to Paddle:
Ecuador is one of my favorite places to spend the winters- great people, cheap living, and absolutely amazing whitewater (with so much more to explore)!
Favorite Rapids:
My home rapids on the White Salmon and Little White Salmon will always be my favorites!
Why I Love Kayaking:
There are so many aspects to why I love kayaking, but if I had to pick my top reason it would be a tie between the amazing community and the wild places that paddling brings me to.
Kayaking Accomplishments:
My most recent accomplishments have been placing second in the Spirit Falls Freestyle Competition and creating my first full-length kayaking film, "For the Love" with my brother, Todd.
The last time I swam ...:
I was kayaking Outlet Falls at night (in an LED "lightsuit")!
